- North Seattle Community College's Continuing Education provides educational offerings primarily for adult learners. Unless a course or program is specifically geared toward a younger age group, students under 18 years must obtain permission to enroll according to the following guidelines:
- A. 16 and 17 year old students may enroll in some classes with the required release form. However, certain classes require a minimum age of 18.
- B. 13 to 15 year old students may enroll in some classes if accompanied by a parent or adult guardian over 18 registered and participating in the same class.
- Please download this form and mail or fax to Continuing Education: Underage Waiver
- What kind of credit can I get for Continuing Education classes?
- Continuing Education classes at NSCC do not apply as academic credits towards a degree, but we can provide Continuing Education Units, or CEUs, for employers and au pair programs. One unit comprises ten hours of class time; a 16 hour class would provide 1.6 CEU's.
