Speaker: Nancy Juetten
Topic: "Low Hanging Media Fruit"

Many business owners feel overwhelmed at the prospect of initiating media relations activities. They worry that they will be spending time and effort without earning ready results. You can make submissions and be virtually guaranteed media placements, it's just a matter of getting into action and sharing your news. Once you gather the "low hanging media fruit" and enjoy being seen, heard, and celebrated in your own backyard, you will be motivated to go deeper in your media relations activities to earn bigger and more influential "ink and air." You'll walk away with specific names and contact information for the Puget Sound media decision makers who can bring your business story into the media spotlight. You'll also learn a few ways to phrase your story pitch to successfully earn the "ink and the air," and you'll be inspired to get into the media relations game.

Speaker: Nancy S. Juetten is a work-in-the-trenches publicist, newspaper columnist, speaker and the creator of the Media-Savvy-to-Go Publicity Toolkit that empowers business owners everywhere with 147 powerful ways to get seen, heard, and celebrated in their own backyards through the power of free publicity. She knows how to work with the media to create winning results, and she wants to help business owners everywhere quickly get up to speed so they can do the same for their own growing businesses.
