My passion for movement began before age 7, making gymnastics my first love. Since then, I have made dance a part of my daily life. I have had training in ballet, jazz, modern, musical theatre, belly dance, and others. During my college years at University of Hawaii at Hilo, I performed in the UH Hilo Dance Ensemble, and the “Great Leaps” twice per year. After receiving my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, I currently attend Antioch University for a Master of Education and Elementary certification. My love for dance continues, as I have performed two years for the Fremont Solstice Parade, and worked with wonderful Seattle area teachers such as Anne Green-Gilbert (brain dance), Delilah, and Emiko Noor. With school and a wedding to plan, I am trying to squeeze in time for being a student of dance, as dancers are always students even when teachers.
